Traveling with grace

We all travel with grace in our very own way.

You may ask: What is grace & How can one travel with grace? Grace is a movement with poise, dignity, elegance, charm, courtesy, decency in order to distinguish yourself from others, and gaining the strength to endure trials. Some individuals focus on style, showing up and showing out when traveling. While others tend to go with the flow, and enjoy whatever comes along the way.

I went to Barbados multiple times throughout 2016, and could not help but notice the beauty of the island. On one occasion, I particularly had a night flight into the country and my seat on the connecting flight was given to a passenger who was stranded 3 days on the island due to airline cancellations. After hearing this disappointing news, I resisted the temptation to get upset like all of the other travelers whose seats were given away, and lose my traveling grace. Instead I decided to just breathe deeply, ask for assistance resolving the matter, and take in all that I my layover had to offer.

Reality eventually hit me that I was not going to be able to fly out until the next morning, but at that moment it did not matter; the situation was completely out of my control. I decided to just go with the flow, and enjoy this unexpected overnight trip. To my surprise, the airline company provided me with free accommodations in a ocean view suite with dinner and breakfast and a shuttle service. Here I was traveling all alone in a strange place, but when I looked up there seemed to be a light shining at the end of a long tunnel.

God stepped into my situation and made a worthwhile difference. I am glad that I decided to travel with grace, God was with me every step of the way!

Who wants to build a House? Who is the builder of all things?

Growing up in your parent’s house, you tend to become inpatient dreaming of the day that you will have your own house. It’s not until you get older and travel down life’s journey that you realize what it really entails to want a house. What do you remember about growing up in your parent’s house? Do you recall that your parents’ relationship was the foundation that supported the house. They worked extremely hard to support the walls of that house. Your parents had children, and settled down so that the house would not have to move instead the rest of the house would be built. Finally your parents depended on something higher and bigger to protect their house from the sun, snow, and rain.

Traveling around the world I have seen houses of all different shapes and size and have spoken to numerous people about how they decided whether to build or to buy a house. It may be easier and much cheaper to simply buy a house. But if you choose to build a house you may face tough choices regarding which materials to use: stone, cement, bricks, or even wood. You must be ready for the responsibility and maintenance that comes with a house. Also, you must be ready to change your lifestyle, and improve your finances to keep the house.

But when it comes to choosing to build a relationship with God there should be no tough choices, especially since God created you in his divine image. God created the trees, sky, land, and the sea but I love him the most of all because he created me.

I welcome you accept a change of your lifestyle, you no longer will talk -the- talk now you will walk- the- walk. I urge you to accept full responsibility of your actions and allow our Heavenly Father to maintain your home, improve your finances, and take care of everything. All you will have to do is Come Home !

Every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything -HEB 3:4.   #buildingdaybyday #whobuiltyourhouse #hebuiltallthings
